Snow; remortgage forms; mortgage offers which say balhblahblah for a dozen pages and are impossible to concentrate upon; the sudden and unexplained reappearance of my soundcard at precisely the same moment that my CD drive (which hitherto has refused to burn anything but rewritable disks) HAS OPTED FOR NOT BURNING ANY FUCKING THING WHATSOEVER; my mate 'phoning to say he's getting married again (the f**kwit) and it's going to be in the West Fucking Indies; snow and the probability it's coming again overnight, and worse this time; and Google search results.

is it just me, or is everything really s**t? I should buy that book.
