Quite how we have managed to produce a test pitch for a home ashes test where the ball is turning a foot and half on the morning of day 2 is beyond me but this looks like a surface that's going to see a good contest throughout and is going to deliver a result.
Burns has been impressive although looks a bit dodgy against Lyon!
