Thing is - that scheme did overly reward season ticket holders

the very vast majority of whom haven't been to an away match for yonks. That's why I think the absolute fairest scheme was away stubs (later away points) - for people who are exiles they could see as many games as those who could stumble into Carrow Road, and then the tiering could commence. Instantly putting season ticket holders into the tier that bar the rarest of events would get them tickets always seemed daft to me.
And I really, really resent the idea that a loyal supporter is only someone with a ST. As most on here know, I had home and away tickets for many a year, (and many a division) but circumstances change - location and financial. I don't feel less loyal.
I also do sympathise with those who crossed both categories - lots of away trips, possibly a season ticket. But I get pretty miffed with those who have barely left Norfolk feeling entitled to be ahead of many loyal supporters. Let's be clear, there were under 800 who had attended enough games last season to put them in that premium window.
In the end, not ideal, but not 100% sure it was ideal before. If you could be really clever you could probably do some kind of category membership -select your games up front (A bit like the old home hat-trick membership) and do more of a ballot within that, but the admin of that would be horrendous
