Very well done from a marketing perspective

because even when people see that blank shirt, they'll know who sponsors them.

Take the logo off the Norwich shirt, and ask your average Norwich fan who sponsors them, and I reckon the majority wouldn't have a clue.

So, yes, a cynical marketing ploy, but a very good one.
