I do prefer British sports journalism to the US version
Seems to be more prosaic and engagingly written with more analysis and writer opinion. US papers are often too stat and quote ridden.
I wonder if that's partly a product of the access issue - you have to creatively fill your articles with original content instead of just reporting what someone has said/done.
