What would that achieve?

It would cost over ?1m to sack the management team, and then more to buy a replacement. Instead, why not give Worthy that ?1m to spend on right sided players in the summer to complete his team building. We have 7/8 very good players at the club and with 2 more, adding balance to the team it will make a massive difference.

A new manager would have to dismantle Worthy's nearly assembled team and build his own - this could take many years and the fans would probably demand for him to be sacked before he managed it.

We are only 2 players away from being a top 4 side - whether we are or not will be apparant 10 games into the new season - that is the time to re-evaluate.
