You can't just broadly apply those words.

Every time you use the words out of context you dilute the meaning to them.

In the context of the original article you can't claim the comments to be racist when they are Islamophobic. They are discriminating based on their religion, not their race.

Just like there are people in the Islamic faith that discriminate against those of Jewish faith.

and heck, there are even those that are anti-Catholicism.
This doesn't make them racists.

I do not care what religion someone believes in, as long as it is not enforced on to others and/or oppresses others.

I do however believe that religion is a poison and the world would be a better place without it.

So in your book does that make me a racist?
