Nah, wasn't denying a goalscoring opportunity

Because most instances of GKs handling outside the area involve them being in a 1-on-1 situation which does deny such an opportunity they normally get sent off. Some people have thus mistakenly believed that handling outside the area is an automatic red, which has never ever been the case.
In this case I thought he had a defender between the ball and Hernandez. plus if he hadn't handled it it would have hit his body anyway as he was right behind it.
