The magic number, ie. the combined number of wins or opponents' losses needed to confirm the pennant or wild card place.

Three draws in a row is fine because our rivals have kept dropping points too. So we're three games closer to promotion with no real harm done. It's them who both have it all to do, not us. They're both running out of time.
