I can imagine

I've been in the wars too: my sister is very seriously ill and we don't know what to do (I'm funding her at present, but it can't go on much longer); my ex has PTSD after having been bullied at work for over a year by the most disgusting people. But your situation is just horrendous, and must've played havoc with your ability to trust others.

I assume there are no legal options you could take?
