That's part of the problem...

At this stage of his career he doesn't have the split-second decision-making ability to find the right shot/pass when he needs them, hence his goal/assist figures being so low (one of each?). Hopefully that will come in time, but at the moment (and definitely not his fault) there is simply no comparison with experienced pros like Vrancic and Leitner.
