Just back from Wigwam...
That car park...friggin hell!
Going down for breakfast in hotel to find it packed out by Norwich fans was quite a sight. Felt sorry for the staff....by God Norwichers like their bacon, three times they ran out!
Anyway, thougts on the game. I thought we were lucky to come away with a point to be honest. Wigan were a rarity in that they managed to press us for the full 90 minutes and didn't fade after an hour or so like most teams do.
Pretty poor all round really, just didn't happen for us - Onel and Stieperman in particular didn't play to their usual high standards. Credit to Krul though for a couple if very good stops.
Not the end of the world by any means, our great performances this season has brought us the well deserved cushion that we have.
Just one final point, every single member of Wigan staff I encountered were nothing but absolutely and genuinely lovely, helpful and pleasant. For that reason alone, I hope they stay up.
