Not sure that is necessarily the case

Both Reading and Leeds were 2/3 players short last season - they signed them and they made a massive, immediate difference to the team. Both teams only required a couple more players to complete their teams and end their periods of transition.

There are obviously examples to counter that, which is why we should not have 'infinite patience', rather assess him after 10 or so games.
