Jerome: Whether it was actually "dangerous play" is difficult to conclusively establish. You could argue that it was dangerous, but also that of course there is sometimes inherent danger in the penalty area. Anyone can see that goal should have stood but I'm not sure VAR would have worked on this one.

Huckerby: They got their story straight on this one and booked someone for a foul a few yards further back who wasn't last man. Should have played advantage of course. Complete Cock and Bull but the referee took an easy compromise, which is much of what they do. VAR also won't make referees braver.
