Highly sympathetic

It has almost killed me, spent 4 weeks in bed, couldn't even crawl to the toilet... both feet, right hand and arm (am right handed) all at once. Finally got blood tested and uric acid was very high (600+, norm is under 300). Allopurinol has brought it down to normal, so no more attacks. However, I now get reduced kidney function !!
Anyway, it killed all fitness I had, and I'm on a very slow road back. Wish you all the best, and just to say that prevention is definitely best as there's no bloody cure...
