Of course
But the idea that the referendum result can be overturned and hey presto! with one leap he was free, is just not realistic I think. One has to accept that it has happened (and let's face it, the whole of Parliament allowed that) and all of its many consequences now must be managed and dealt with - I don't think that suppressing its result is going to achieve that - or indeed, achieve anything other than storing up trouble for ourselves. I know - you'll say, well, the trouble of leaving of leaving is far greater. And I suppose that is a point (of judgment) on which I wouldn't agree. At the moment, whatever some people might think, the politicians of this country are very mild - compare SiH's post y'day about Holland, compare the AfD, compare Italy or Hungary. We open the door to this if we now simply say - well bad luck folks, I know you thought that the place was run by a faceless metropolitan elite who don't listen, looks like you were right.
