Wanting to go back to pre-Ref days

is about as realistic as wanting to go back to the 1950s, pipes and slippers. It's a mirror image of the "we won the referendum, ho ho ho!!" group. Both a hard/wto brexit and a complete reversal of the result would very likely lead to years of extreme politics and fracture. They're both hopeless ideas - thre was a good article by Rafi Behr in the Graun y'day about how both sides of the brexit argument are losing, which is quite a feat. In this sense i agree with TM that people are being self-indulgent. However - the middle/other course requires the sort of leadership, imagination and charisma that TM couldn't even conceive of, let alone does she have it. Whilst she's in charge, the position is dreadful.
