This was one of W's biggest mistakes. The team lost its leaders and its stability all at once. The diddymen were hardly a roaring success were they?

And there is a bit more to being a good defender than being quick. If you argue otherwise, then you might as well say that central midfielders must have a good engine, then we'd end up with. Oh.
