McCarthy took them to third in the league after relegation, only losing to Palace in the play-off semis due to some shocking refereeing. The next season they were champions.
If Worthington can repeat these feats in the next 1.25 seasons then I will take my hat off to Biggins for a quality analogy.
If not I'll treat his ramplings with the usual contempt.
