Might be a thorny subject: minute’s silences and applauses.

I know there’s one arranged for tomorrow for the poor young fan who passed away and I will gladly join in with clapping on the 4th minute. Just wondered if anyone thought that they are becoming more common than before and if they were for lesser reasons. (Not including tomorrow’s)
I don’t know how common they used to be but there does seem to be one each match now.
