Of course it’s always possible to look a fool in this kind of situation and I could still manage it. Had I voiced the doubts I had about Pukki early on (based on the couple of games he had supporting Rhodes) I’d seem a right t**t now (even more than usual). The curse of the foreign striker at Norwich, which has been universal so far, seems to have made a very clear exception for him. Regarding Farke, German football, which is something we’re clearly seeing as inspiration, always believes that the second season is when you see the results of your work. It’s just a shame we only had Maddison and Gunn for one season. No slight on Stiepermann, but imagine Maddison playing there; I can only imagine the link play between Buendía and him.
