I am so, so sad about that news.
I loved Jeremy Hardy. Was there anyone else quite like him?
In Edinburgh, back in the 1980s Mr Bwod and I were in a crowded bar in Edinburgh. Jeremy and his wife ended up having to join our table as there was no other room. Since then, I've sort of seen us as drinking buddies.
I also remember seeing him at the assembly rooms where he ripped into the Blair govt. I'd felt awkward as I knew Charles Clarke (then Home Sec) was sitting right behind me (I shouldn't have worried - CC loved it)
RIP Jeremy. Hope you somehow find Linda Smith and team up again xx

- Yeah, it's really sad. His slightly odd tweets recently make more sense (n/m) (General Chat) - Dandy Highburyman, Feb 1, 18:21:12
