Yes, no, no

Not bitter.

Life not at all panned out how I imagined it (I was reasonably realistic). I knew I wanted to work in science, I never pictured working in it in the way I do, but I enjoy it.

Regarding life in general. Some things are worse than I expected and I don't think I had any idea of some of the sh!t that typically comes to us all as adults (illness, loss, setbacks).

Some things are unexpectedly much better. I enjoy what I do and while I don't feel I've changed much I'm much more confident and sanguine than when I was a teenager.

Why do you ask?
