so at that time I guess it made sense to do whatever was necessary to keep the whole coaching team at NCFC and I'm not sure many of us would have disagreed at the time. Fair enough just because he won it once does not mean he would be able to do it again, however he does deserve a huge thanks for doing so, maybe this was the boards way of showing that thanks? Also they have been stung before with the chopping and changing of managers and they craved stability, we all know they wanted to do things the Charlton way and find a manager and stick with him. I think they learnt the hard way that a new manager is not always the solution and so when a manager came along that they liked and that was successful for them they have clung on to him.
