i am an accomplished pianist. BUT

my friends wife was born with 6 fingers on each hand and had an operation to remove them at an early age. she has a massive chip on her shoulder and i never got on with her so my empathic side questions should i care when making jokes?

ego my ego. i put my foot in it several times, i don't see her much anymore so it's not important but even so.

i think freud called this a complex. what a wonderful human being he was.
