just keep all that stuff under one roof and pop it into a politics category that's all. Nobody ever changes their view as far as I can see on here re party politics, every habitual politico foghorner on here has their own entrenched viewpoints which is fine, free country and all that.

Just pop it into a category where like minded people can sound off and get it out of their system, it's not a political forum after all. It's not banning political discourse or censoring it, it's just taking it out of the main forum where invariably it ends up in an ugly s**t fight with personal insults and people being pushed even further apart seeing less and less of the other sides points and it's not edifying.
