There is a time and distance factor when looking at things deemed as bad taste....

Humans will normally accept mockery of horrific events if enough time and distance has passed.

I mentioned the titanic yesterday..... for many years there have been play slides for kids to slide down the decks as the ship is sinking.

On the 5th of November Kids have a lot of fun..... celebrating the horrific death of Guy Fawkes.....

Prince Harry dressed as a Nazi......not enough time passed that's why he got smashed over that....

As SCC suggested. Imagine dressing as a suicide bomber in Manchester very soon after that event......

My feeling is that the people who did the Grenfell video made a very bad mistake and extremely regret doing it in the cold light of day.

But...IMHO they didn't kill anyone or rape anyone.

The amount of outrage is a bit OTT compared to the actual crime when much more heinous acts get little to no coverage.
I'm sure they will be punished and understandably so.
