Probably the best penalty taker we ever had

was full-back John Ryan who always blasted them high and hard that goalies never had a chance. I don't ever remember him missing one! Maddison exuded confidence but since his departure all we have are guys who are likely to score but it's never certain. We probably have in the squad someone who fits the bill but hasn't yet been asked to step up to the plate. We have missed three penalties recently and that simply isn't good enough. DF should use a session this week to have every squad member take ten penalties each and who knows, he may just learn something.
