Hastily thrown up and shonkily done scaffolding gone up on my neighbour's empty house.

No scaffold firm's signs or any indication of who did it, next-door (in Spain at their winter house until May!) know nothing about it, it isn't tied on, it wobbles like a mad c**t.

They're being set-up for a burglary aren't they?

Police on 101 will ignore it if we tell them, according to former copper bloke next-door but one on the other side, since no crime has been committed yet (trespass is civil not criminal).

We're getting onto the HSE first thing to report an unsafe scaffold, but that's no good if they get bungled tonight.

We've made sure CCTV is covering it, but apart from that, what can we do?
