I know what your point was.

We also had eight shots blocked. Just because those weren’t saved by the goalkeeper and because the off target shots were off target doesn’t mean they weren’t chances. Yes we should have made more of them. That’s obvious. But the fact we had them and Stoke didn’t, would lead me to assume our performance was better than theirs and the result didn’t reflect that. And just as obviously, I am aware that performance does not guarantee result.

I just can’t be doing with the whole “not deserving to win” thing. We should give the team credit where it’s due.
