I think it's made a big difference - and is a perfect compromise

Last season when he went 4-2-3-1 - it was with Trybull and Tettey sitting. Love them both but neither are creative or get the team ticking.

4-1-4-1 leaves us wide open, so we're now playing the former formation but with a more creative player alongside the enforcer.
