do you sometimes get a cold after being on a flight and attribute it to being confined in
metal tube that recycles everyones germs around the cabin?
It maybe that but boffins now think that it probably can be attributed to them plastic bins you bung your laptop, boots, keys, phone etc in to go through security.
Finnish and British researchers swabbed trays at the Helsinki Airport and discovered that half of the samples were contaminated with rhinovirus or adenovirus; two categories of common viruses that can trigger cold-like symptoms. These trays are never routinely sanitised (dogs**t off of peoples boots 😳)
maybe wanna consider wash your hands after tripping through security before scoffing that skanky £7.50 in-flight cheese roll.
