Giant Spider in the House: Update

Having relaxed somewhat after a good few days without seeing the monster, last night it appeared walking with pace towards me out the corner of my eye.

Naturally I acted like a man and stood on the sofa and woke my asleep sexual partner. She woke and screamed and stood on the sofa too.

After much pause and general failure to do anything, we missed the chance to plonk a giant glass bowl over it and it went back under a table with a huge pile of toys in the corner of the room.

I therefore decided to burn the house down, and am awaiting a response from my insurance company as to the terms and conditions. Surely Fire Due To Giant Mother Fucking Spider Invasion is covered?
