I have soft spots for other clubs but can’t say I follow or support them.

If I was asked how many teams I supported or followed, I would say just one and that survey depresses me. However, my Dad was an Everton fan and I’ll usually root for them in a game that doesn’t involve Norwich. I have an Everton mug that I bought when I watched Norwich at Goodison, purely because it’s the only thing I have to remember my Dad by.

My wife is a lifelong Bournemouth supporter and I currently live there but I had more interest in them when they were in Leagues 1 and 2 than I do now. I’m pleased when they win but equally not fussed when they don’t. I’m also delighted when Norwich beat them because my brother-in-law is a gloating bastard when they win.

I also like Fulham a lot, lived in Hammersmith for eight years and they’re my West London team of choice. I’ve been to Craven Cottage more times than any other ground except for Carrow Road, wanted them to go up last season so I guess I’ll follow them this season. That said, I’ve been to the last six away trips to Fulham and obviously I’m desperate to beat them.
