When accusing others of misrepresenting you, it might be helpful if you didn't do it yourself. I never said a blind thing about 'wanting Lampard as manager'. My point was he'd never have considered us in a million years, and chose Derby because of their ambition. As opposed to our lack of it.

That lack of ambition - and the lack of profile that results in - automatically narrows our options. Heck, even the man who took us up at Wembley was recruited from... Hamilton Academical, so naturally out of his depth in the top tier.
