I agree with you re the Times article

For me it’s not so much about the means of Delia and Michael, but rather their ambition for the club.

I agree that we won’t be one of the wealthier teams in the league, but I don’t think that necessarily precludes us from success (makes it harder of course). What will hold us back is a lack of ambition. I don’t mean spending loads of money, but rather people in the club being held accountable to a very high standard. It just all seems a bit soft at the moment, like a “well you tried your best so that’s ok” approach rather than solely results focused.

Maybe I’m way off, it all just feels a bit like the club is just coasting a long and I hate that. Being a football fan is nothing without hope.
