I was in Colchester, but no ITV. Meant we didn't have to ask

My dad built the telly and the picture used to roll.
"Daaaad, it's rolling again" He used to come in with a plastic knitting needle. poke it in the back and the picture slowed, stopped and then rolled the other way. Eventually it would stop, for the time being, anyway
