has always been part of football and, even if it can be corrected nowdays with VAR, it's not a big issue for me.

On the other hand, every attacking set piece taking at least a minute to set up, and having to wait for the referee's whistle to take every single free kick is turning football more into a bunch of moments and set plays rather than a free flowing game. I don't like it, and this ref was terrible for it.
