just listened to the father of a british rescue diver on the wireless very proud chap
his son volunteered as he is a commercial diver in thailand and he has to have a medical every 6 months at the SEALS med centre so they got to know him over the years and contacted him to see if he was willing to help which he obviously did. his first dive was the day after the lad died and he said his son was very anxious but he had to do it. he said that they hadn't been in contact as the Thai authorities had imposed a blackout on them but he then got a text through 10 mins ago which went suffern like: "all boys out, coach out, doctor out SEALS out, all safe. Hooray!"
fantastic stuff
