Madders was always gonna go. Possibly also Murph. Got less than I’d hoped for Madders but more than I imagined for Murph so results in a good price for the two. And we managed to get money for Watkins. Loaned out Naismith and Franke again.

We’ve got Hernandez and srbeny with a full offseason, Rhodes in and Pukki for depth at striker. Marshall and Passlack both of whom can play wingback or attacking midfield. Buendia, McLean and Leitner with cantwell coming back to push for a place. tettey signed up again, trybull, McLean and Godfrey also able to play there. Fingers crossed we’ve held on to Hanley, Klose and Lewis. Raggett waiting in the wings if needed. And so far we still also have Oli and Pinto who now have competition.

We’ve pretty much covered everything already on a real need basis if we don’t sell more. In an absolutely ideal world I’d love us to sign another central defender for depth and a keeper to challenge Matthews. Then we need to get rid of Wildschut, stiepermann, McGovern and Martin in my opinion. Still not convinced on husband but he looked better toward the end of last season and he’s decent for a backup I suppose.

I’m a bit excited. Add to that the fact that Zimmermann, Trybull, Stiepermann, Hernandez and Leitner have had valuable experience in the both the championship and Farke’s system last season so it will be less of a mystery to them this year.
