We’ve only ever played anything like it under Farke. Previously we have played passing

football which was attractive (yes hughton aside) but it was never a Cruijffian Style retaining possession, interchanging positions and small triangles. Not until this last season.

FYI Spain did take more risk in longer passes at times this World Cup but I just think they got their plan wrong against Russia and weren’t able to adjust. They will play more like the Bayern style under Pep before long. And that’s what we are trying as well I think.
