Technically the nights don’t start drawing in for another week yet.
In fact sunset is a minute earlier tonight and tomorrow than it will be on Saturday. For example, sunset times in Norwich until 28th July remain the same... 21:23
Sunrise times however (currently 4.31 for Norwich) , start getting later on Sunday... 4.32
So whilst today is the Summer Soltice which marks the longest day in the Northern Hemisphere, we have roughly a couple of weeks either side of today where daylight hours are broadly the same.
Final fact for Norwichiansesess... Saturday will actually be the longest day for sunlit hours... 16 hours and 52 minutes.
