Time travel is perfectly possible, but in one direction only

It's possible to travel into the future (by accelerating to relativistic speeds). It's not possible to travel into the past. Cf. the incorrectly named twin paradox (it's not actually a paradox), and the grandfather paradox - though thinking on this latter is evolving, it's not really shifted (see User Posted Link for instance).
