If Germany don't finish top of their group, they would play Brazil in the second round (if the latter wins their group).

Meanwhile, the winner of the Belgium/England group would go in to that half of the draw, meaning that Brazil or Germany would await in the quarter finals.

The runner-up in England's group go in to the other half where, say, Mexico, Serbia or Switzerland would be the likely quarter-finalists.

England play their final group game against Belgium with those other groups already completed. So....

Would we want England to beat Belgium?*

*Yes, I know. All normal caveats apply. Anything could happen, England are s**t yada yada yada.
