it will depend upon your audio setup, equalisation etc.
but one other thing struck me.. the phrasing of the question. if it was "laurel or yanny", i suspect more people would have said yanny. this technique is used a lot in politics, the bias is always towards the decision of which you want someone to choose is geared towards the second choice.
