If the criteria are that he is immediately loaned back a la what we've done with McLean, Raggett, Maddison and I think Thompson amongst others then I don't know. We might even have come close with Madders himself, but if it doesn't have to be immediate then I think it is Shevchenko. Chelsea paid 31m-ish for him from Milan and then he spent two years at Chelsea before they loaned him back to Milan.
