good morning you wonderful people. re. Chess.
I've decided to teach my little lad to play chess with me each morning after breakfast, instead of him habitually wasting his time watching rubbishy TV.
I've taught him the basic moves of the pieces, but I want to teach him the 'right way' to play chess from the start. I was always a bit average at chess so he wont learn the best openings from me !
does anyone have any experience of teaching chess to little ones? Any resources you can recommend?
He'll be 8 on his next birthday.
