Good old internet, good old Londons, good old Argos
At 3pm this afternoon, didn’t have a barbecue, suddenly looked at the steaks I bought this morning and wished I did.
By 7:30 this evening - had bought one from old uncle Argos online, nipped out on the bus and picked it up, constructed it this afternoon (despite kettle barbecues having more bits to them than I realised, and me being pretty inept at that kind of thing), cooked aforementioned meat, and family fed. Very nice too.
Sometimes modern life isn’t rubbish.
