as you well know the mainstream media clearly represents interests that are entirely opposed to what Corbyn and the left wants. If it weren't Corbyn, then any other leftist leader would be similarly lambasted.

And as you also know full well, it's utterly impossible to garner real mainstream political support without powerful media well behind you.

The only labour leader acceptable to the economic powers who own the media is a Blair thatcher-lite
