I think there were potential benefits to him being here if it went well.

Always handy to prove yourself to be a nurturing environment for young players from clubs like Spurs.

That may well have been the main point of it as his position didn't seem to be an area we needed strengthening particularly.

But sounds like his attitude put paid to it being useful for anyone.
